If you can get past its bulk and its shaky battery life, the NEC 535 offers admirable call quality and other worthy features.

NEC's 232E HDM fitness phone gets off to a solid start, but it never quite crosses the finish line.

NEC's MultiSync LCD2470WNX has a higher-than-average price compared to other 24-inch displays, and we just don't see enough of a benefit in image quality to justify the added expense. Features like HDCP-compliance and an amazingly adjustable stand help it keep up with the competition, but for the price, this display needs to do more.

We're not overly impressed with NEC's LCD193WXM monitor. The 19-inch wide-screen LCD has strong enough image quality for the price, but NEC seems to equate utilitarianism with missing features. We wouldn't expect a $200 19-inch screen to bowl anyone over, but competing displays seem to try harder.

The NEC N908 is a beautiful design-centric phone with a luscious touch screen interface. Dialing and texting were a bit difficult due to the lack of a keypad, so it's not a phone for everyone. But those who love compact and uniquely beautiful handsets will not be disappointed.

Though the NEC MultiSync LCD2180WGLED features new LED backlight technology, we're unconvinced it's worth $6,700. Most professional users will be better served by other, less expensive LCDs.

The NEC L1 has a slim profile and some nice features, but it ultimately can't compare to better-equipped thin phones.
