  Summary: Ok lets set one thing straight! This keyboard is compatible with Intel Macs! I know because I have one! But here is the trick....throw away the software disc that comes in the box...seriously! It won't work. What you have to do is download the new version from Logitech and when you are asked to check the automatic check for updates....UNCHECK IT!!!! At that point everything works fine. I know... a little bit of a pain, but well worth it.
  As I am sure many have found, even with all the hoopla about the new keyboard design on these new IMacs, it is very uncomfortable and does not offer much in the way of shortcuts.
  The mouse too sits too low and your wrist sits on the table without much in the way of support. Which is why I was on the hunt for a new keyboard. Additionally the "H" key on my Mac keyboard was faulty...sometimes keying and sometimes not!
  The S530 is a very well thought out keyboard/mouse combination. The mouse is ergonomic and very comfortable. The keyboard is very comfortable to type on and although the keys could have a better feel, a little to loose for me, it all works very well and looks great too! There are ten buttons on the outer edge of the keyboard that are customizable to open any program...more than enough for anyone! I can open up Firefox and Photoshop from my keyboard with the touch of just one button on the keyboard! To change the repeat rate on both the backspace and delete keys, you have to adjust those in the main mouse and keyboard settings on the Mac.
  The mouse itself has eleven different actions...all customizable!
  
  At 79.95, this keyboard is a real bargain to Imac users. I hope they come out with one with a better feeling keyset!

  Summary: I bought this keyboard and mouse set last summer. I like the design of the keyboard. It is definitely more comfortable than the stock keyboard that came with my white iMac. The special keys on the sides of the keyboard are handy. While the mouse is obviously designed for right handed use, I use it with my left hand and find it comfortable.
  
  On the other hand, the QWERTY keys feel cheap and loose and clatter like nobody's business. The mouse also cannot be adjusted to scroll quickly enough for my taste; I find myself using the rocker switch for scrolling on the left side of the keyboard. It's inconvenient for someone who uses the mouse with the left hand. I also wish the keyboard had a couple of USB ports as the Apple wired keyboard does.
  
  Also, the special function keys did not work when I was running Tiger (OSX 10.4); Logitech never (to my knowledge at least) released an update for Tiger. I upgraded to Leopard (0SX 10.5) about two months after it was released and the Logitech software installed an update that made special keys work as intended.
  
  Overall: good design, mediocre execution.

  Summary: I absolutely love this set for so many reasons. First, it looks great on my desk and matches nicely. The keyboard types way better than a Mac keyboard and the mouse is actually comfortable to use. There are a ton of well-placed shortcut keys on the keyboard and mouse that are fully customizable with the Logitech software. A few times that software didn't recognize my mouse which also meant I couldn't use the shortcut keys on the mouse, but I think the battery was pretty low in it. The battery life seems to be pretty good though.
  
  All around, these two are great!

  Summary: This is a great keyboard. From the ease of setting it up to the extra key functions shortcuts it won't disappoint. The only thing I didn't like is although with the included software you can modify the additional buttons on the left/right sides, the options are pretty limited. I would like to be able to use one of the buttons to put the computer to sleep.
  
  This is definitely a minor issue. Overall I would definitely recommend this keyboard/mouse combo. I've tested the range, and they work at a fairly good distance. There is no lag whatsoever to be seen. Spot on.

  Summary: For the most part I do like this keyboard. At times though it seems oddly unresponsive where test does not always appear right away. No Caps Lock indicator is kind of a mystery. Why they would not put a light either on the key itself or elsewhere on the board is beyond me. I have had some minor frustration with the Caps Lock being on while trying to enter passwords.

  Summary: I am using the s530 Mac keyboard and mouse to write this review. This mouse and keyboard were a step up from the wired (1 button) mouse and wired keyboard that came with our G5 Imac. The keyboard and mouse have been in use for 6 months and are both still on their first set of batteries. I used the unit with the dock for the fist few months. I erroneously thought that the signals from the mouse and keyboard would not reach the back of the Imac. I was wrong, it works perfectly just plugging the USB receiver into the back of the Imac. That?s one less wire on the desk. The keyboard does not have quite as nice a key feel as the wired apple keyboard or Logitech?'s best PC keyboards but a slight compromise on the ?"clickiness?" of the keyboard is a worthwhile tradeoff for wireless. The keyboard has a sloped front and I find the hand position is more comfortable than with the Apple. The sloped front is silver painted plastic, which is not as comfortable as some of the PC Logitech and Microsoft devices which have hand rests that are covered with padding or softer materials. I have not found any lag time with either the mouse of the keyboard. If you want to keep the Mac aesthetic and go wireless there are not very many options. This keyboard set is quite a bit more expensive than the 530 version for the PC. That being said this keyboard was clearly designed for the Mac with Mac specific buttons. It is not a PC keyboard in white and silver. In my book this justifies the $20 to $30 price increase.
