"totally diggin this phone"
Pros: voice recorder, bright and big internal/external display, navigating was a breeze,
Cons: speakerphone is only good and not great, the antenna sticks out, and if you have big thumbs the navigation key will be a pain for ya
Summary: i just got this phone with a tmobile plan. i believe they're the only one offering this phone and i'm glad.
the first thing that popped out about this phone is the bright display and font size they use. also the external display is in color and huge compared to others out there.
the placement of the camera is a bit awkward, but it's not a feature that i've used before in other phones, and i don't see myself using in the future. it's a novel idea, like the fm radio feature that's included--which i also don't see myself using much. it doesn't have bluetooth, which i'm too upset about. i don't see myself needing it in the future. to tell you the truth, i'm not too sure what it is or what it does, but the salesperson seemed to want to point that out to me.
the phone i got had some nice demo games included--tetris and solitaire, and then some weird pipe building game. the games loaded up fairly quickly if that's one of your concerns in choosing a phone.
the voice recording feature is a nice and something i can see myself using often. it'll save me time and effort in taking notes for myself (i have horrible short-term memory).
navigating the phone was a breeze. the icons are self-explanatory, but there is also text up top in case you don't understand them. everything else is pretty much intuitive.
the navigation key, with the center selector is a great idea. the numberpad uses some nice size buttons and have a slight rise to them so you can feel around if you have to, to dial numbers. the one complaint about the navigation key is that it's small, at least for me it was.
another nice thing about the phone is it's battery-saving feature. it goes into like a rest mode after having the display on without any activity. the screen dims to off till you start using it again.
speakerphone feature was good but not great.
and lastly, the antenna sticks out, which is the only thing that i really don't dig about the phone physically. other than that, it's a real purrty phone, imo.
it's an all around great phone, if you can lookover not having bluetooth, an antenna that sticks out, and a speakerphone feature that is only good and not great
