"Great design and solid construction"
Pros: Solid, great form factor
Cons: Flimsy power/USB cover, software
Summary: The shape and heft of this phone is excellent. It feels "solid" without being bulky or heavy. The screen, while necessarily narrow, is clear and easy to see even in daylight.
The glassy front cover looks great at first but its charm is short term. As numerous other reviews have mentioned it seems to literally suck the fingerprints off of your hand. For the first week or so you'll polish it constantly then, if you are like me, you'll just resign yourself to a fingerprint covered phone and only polish it up when showing it to admirers.
The little plastic cover over the power/USB connector feels remarkably flimsy for such an otherwise solidly constructed phone. I'll be curious to see how long it before it breaks off...I'm not expecting it to last long. On the other hand, many other phones don't have any cover over the connector at all.
My worst gripe is software. For a high end phone you'd think Motorola would (1) have higher quality software and (2) include it with the phone. Instead you have to purchase it separately and its interface and interaction with outlook is far inferior to the software that is available for free for my previous nokia.
