"This phone does everything that you expect it to"
Pros: small size, stylish design, camera, mp3 ringtones
Cons: no IR port, no bluetooth, sub-par battery life.
Summary: I've had this phone for a week and it's done everything that I expected it to, and a few things that were pleasant surprises. The phone design is nice and small, so that if fits comfortably in your pocket and doesn't create that unsightly bulge, that is, unless you were tight fitting jeans. The number keys are a tad small, but I have relatively small fingers so that I don't find that a problem. The joystick didn't give me too many problems, occasionally when you have to press it to select something it moves, and an incorrect selection is made, but this is hardly a damning design flaw. Now... when I was comtemplating buying this thing the main thing that worried me was that people said that the case is impossible to pry off. Having had to remove the battery in the first week of owning it, I say this... THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR OPENING THE CASE ARE ON THE STICKER ON THE BACK OF THE PHONE! What are you people blind... or maybe that's a recent addition due to complaints. When you pry the case open the way it was meant to be opened it comes apart fine. And otherwise, the fact that it snaps so tightly is way better than the case being too loose. Furthermore the c650 with T-mobile service also allows you to check you POP3 e-mail accounts once you set it up on their site. I believe they charge each e-mail as a text message though. This combined with the built in AOL and Yahoo messenger support, makes this a pretty good phone buy for the price. I'm not a professional, I use my cell phone to make calls, maybe check my e-mails on the go and to generally stay accessible. This cell phone does that, and it does it without being conspicuous, check out how small it is in the video, it's only two or three fingers wide, the thing is practically invisible. On the down side, battery life for me has been a "charge the phone every night" affair. I haven't had a huge range of cell phones, but I'm pretty sure that's sub par. If you can deal with that, and with having a relatively simple phone. The c650 is for you.
