Bloggers like Scott Beale got packages in the mail containing puzzle pieces and notes from "Loki," the central figure in the Vanishing Point game.

Part alternate-reality game (ARG) and part traditional sweepstakes, the game is actually a marketing vehicle for Microsoft's Windows Vista.
